As modern media may have us think that yoga is all about asana (Yogic postures), the entirety of yoga includes a wide range of contemplative and self-disciplinary practices, such as moral vows, duties, physical poses, breathing practices, and even selfless action.
The word yoga comes from the root word "Yuj" which means "to yoke" or "to unite". As yoga works holistically it helps us to understand our true nature.
over the last few decades, there has been a rise in the spreading of yoga. Medical professionals and celebrities are also adopting and recommending the regular practice of yoga due its various benefits. On the other some regard yoga as simply one more prevailing fashion, others just want to feel how a 3000-year-old science works, What they don't understand is that what they see as simply just another form of exercise will profit them in ways they never dream up.

Yoga is a great way to improve your quality of life. It has been used since ancient times and it has proven to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, plus it increases strength and flexibility while improving balance.
